Acting or Reality?

Shock in the Parliament of Romania

Last Thursday was the most shocking day for the Parliament of Romania. The session was overshadowed by TV engineer, the father of two children Adrian Sobaru who decided to jump from 7-meters-high balcony in protest over government budget cuts that had affected his family. He was wearing “you-killed-our-children’s-future” t-shirt, but luckily his injures weren’t life–threatening. When he was taken out on a stretcher to the emergency, Adrian continued shouting the word "feedom".

The second floor is close to Panton style, with its bright neon colors, the third floor is designed in black and white colors, and the fourth floor is space-themed. Misplaced Garbage

One man dumps his garbage on another man’s place. The second man gets his revenge.
I'll quote the guy: "So, I work at a grocery store. Occasionally people dump their trash (boxes, clothes, mattresses..) behind our store, expecting us to clean up after them.

A couple days ago I notice a HUGE 55" TV box stuffed with dirty old air filters, and various other electronics boxes. I think, "What an asshole!" and go back to work. About a minute later it hits me... did I see an address label? There is absolutely no way someone is that stupid.

So I go back out to examine the boxes. Oh dear jesus, there's an address label. Then I realize, this guy is clearly missing his boxes, and what a better way to celebrate the holidays than to return them to him!

So me and a couple friends piled the boxes in my tiny-ass car (that's just the big one and the air filters)

Swimming with No Legs and Only One Arm

The story of this six-year-old boy from Alabama is unbelievable. Gabe Marsh was born with birth defects. He had no legs and only one arm. He was lucky to be adopted by Marshes family, who accepted over 60 children with “special needs”. One thing Ann and Ed Marshes doubted about was the ability of Gabe to swim, as most kids who had been through their home were members of the Guntersville swim team. It took Ann by surprise to see Gabe swimming last summer. Since then he has managed to improve his results, and he now swims for the Guntersville swim team.

The 2010 Lemon Festival of Menton

Each year, the French town of Menton hosts an event unique in the world, La Fete de Citron, or the Lemon Festival.
This year’s 77th edition of the Menton Lemon Festival takes place between February 12 and March 3 and has the theme “Menton does cinema”. The second most important festival on the French Riviera, after the Carnival of Nice and just before the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monaco, The Lemon Festival draws in a crowd of over 230,000 people.
The lemons grown in the Menton area are favored by the world’s star chefs, for their distinct flavor and superior sugar content. The French town enjoys a sub-tropical climate, sheltered by a nearby mountain chain.
Back in the 1930s, locals used to celebrate by parading a few carts loaded wit orange and lemon trees, but throughout the years, the festivities turned into an international carnival. Over 300 professionals work on arranging around 145 tons of citrus fruits as giant sculptures.

So You Think You Have Big Cojones?

At approximately 6:30 on bright and sunny morning, adrenaline junkie Jonathan Trappe attached 55 balloons filled with helium to a steel cased office chair and soared to nearly 15,000 feet. It became his dream to break free from his desk and take to the skies after watching the movie UP. He managed to reach a height of some 14,783 feet while sitting in an office chair. He had to obtain an FAA license to fly helium balloons. Mr. Trappe rose in the sky at a rate of 521 feet per minute. Now, after the flight he still sits in the same chair at work. And you thought you had big cojones.
